Experienced, expert, focused on your success

We are a diverse team with a uniquely complementary set of skills that range from the highly strategic to the highly specific. Whether you are looking to refresh your entire brand or seeking a smart solution to a tightly defined challenge, you can be sure that our blend of experience, expertise and creativity will deliver the solution you need.

Why Fin? It's simple

Our unique depth and breadth of experience in the investment industry will give you absolute confidence that we will understand you and the challenges you face. Our industry knowledge will ensure that our strategy will be absolutely appropriate. And our creative skills will guarantee that it is expressed in the most creative way possible.

You gain extra creativity

Our creative team has a wealth of experience in the financial services sector but also brings expertise from many other territories to bear on your challenges – film, fine art, animation, creative writing, fashion, music and pure design are all part of our creative mix. And all of those skills are carefully curated to deliver solutions that will shine for your business.

You gain extra strategic thinking

Our strategists have all worked both at client businesses and at a wide range of creative and marketing agencies. For over thirty years they have been developing, refining and constantly re-inventing the Fin strategic approach, gaining experience right across the sector and for every class of enterprise. Their expertise will bring a fresh perspective on the challenges you face.

Industry know how

In the investment industry, there are very few challenges for your organisation that we will not have already faced: from full brand identities to tactical digital display campaigns; from sweeping, complex content delivery systems to detailed, highly focused animations. You can be confident that Fin will be able to deliver whatever your business needs.

You gain a valuable partner

Because strategy underpins everything we do as a business, our clients find that they tend to think of us as creative partners rather than ‘suppliers’. We take the time and trouble to really understand your business and the particular challenges that you are facing. We always aim to understand the motivations of your key stakeholders, to involve you at every stage – responding to your feedback and refining our work – and we strive to create solutions that combine absolute appropriateness with precision and elegance. Perhaps that’s why so may of our clients return to us again and again.

Keep good company

A glance at just a few of our industry clients should reassure you that when working with Fin you’ll be in very good company. After all, we have worked with as many as 19 of the top 50 global investment companies and with everyone from powerful industry giants to start-ups who want to punch above their weight.

Meet the team

Justin Mould
Justin Mould Managing Director

Justin is the founder of Fin International. In 1987 he identified the need for a specialist brand and design agency for financial sector clients. Since then he has continually applied his extensive market knowledge along with his experience and understanding of financial brands to help our clients drive their branding and marketing forward. In the few moments that he allows to himself, Justin will be found on the squash court or simply walking his Working Cocker.

Ivo Forde PR Director

Driven, focused and committed to delivering a competitive edge to all of his clients, Ivo was originally a banker at Guinness Mahon and Kleinwort Benson, he co-formed Fin Public Relations in 2007. Ivo’s client-side background means that he can bring to bear a deep knowledge of the financial services sector on everything we do.
Previously a Director of Sarasin Investment Funds, Ivo was responsible for the marketing and public relations of the London investment management subsidiary of Bank Sarasin in Switzerland. Ivo was also a shareholder and Director of First Financial, the financial public relations and advertising agency where he was a strategic adviser to many financial services groups.

Margaret Axon Office Manager

Margaret is the very first person you will meet when you visit the Fin offices. Her role is absolutely indefinable, but completely indispensible. One of a kind, she is variously described as office manager, ‘star-player’ and front-of-house. Interestingly, Margaret once lived a completely different life as a 3D designer. After graduating from St Martins, long before CAD existed, she worked in the design and production of interiors and events of every kind. If you need to know anything at all about Fin, you should start with Margaret. When not running the Fin nerve-centre, you will find Margaret restoring classic jukeboxes and running her own antiques business, naturally.

Alex Blondin Head of Digital

Alex has over 12 years’ experience leading demanding digital projects and building effective digital strategies. Throughout his career Alex has concentrated on delivering the widest variety of positive digital experiences. Now his focus is on creating outstanding digital solutions for our clients as well as helping to drive the growth of Fin – growth that will deliver benefits of scope and scale to all of Fin’s clients.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Law Degree (in French law), and is (usefully!) bilingual in French and English. Eclectic and focused, outside the office Alex applies his meticulous attention to detail and craft to the worlds of retro-gaming, gardening, home automation and watchmaking.

Dan Hyde Account Director

Dan has over fifteen years of experience working with clients to develop and produce content, managing design and publishing ‘things’ (Dan’s word!) for both online and real-world environments. Dan works across a variety of accounts at Fin with a particular focus on content and digital marketing. Originally from a publishing background, he has experience working in both agency and in-house environments, with large international organisations and smaller, niche companies. A passionate vinyl enthusiast, Dan is an inveterate ‘crate digger’ ever in search of that perfect obscure or classic disc.

Anthony Shewell Media Relations

Anthony joined Fin in 2009 having spent five years as an IFA with Towry Law before becoming involved in public relations at a number of agencies focused on financial services – including First Financial. He has contributed to the planning and implementation of advertising and public relations strategies for Jupiter, Neptune, BlackRock, SVM, Bank Sarasin and Seilern always applying the commitment to competition and out-performance which exemplifies his career. Anthony is FPC qualified and, surprisingly, is also a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.

Alex P

Having studied History at UCL, her past agencies have included Saatchi & Saatchi and AKA and she is experienced in client facing work, on both B2B and B2C projects. When she’s not pouring over spreadsheets, Alex enjoys keeping up with live music and wondering around museums and galleries.

Alan Fender Head of Brand Strategy

Alan joined Fin as Creative Director. In time he found his fascination with strategic thinking taking precedence – and his focus is now on brand strategy, using his creative background and knowledge of the investment industry to ensure alignment between our clients’ business objectives, brand strategy and the creative execution. Alan has over 30 years’ experience in the marketing and communications industry and holds a Degree in Graphic Design from Canterbury College of Art. Alan maintains his unflappable disposition outside office hours by expertly tending his bonsai collection.

Henri Piat Designer

Henri has worked for many years across a broad range of design disciplines: brand identity, product design, packaging, digital and publications, but his absolute obsession is the design of printed collateral. Meticulous by nature with a ferocious eye for detail, he has designed for a wide range of prestigious brands, from concept right through to production. Henri holds a degree in Graphic Design from the Paris school of design Intuit Lab and is, when not focused relentlessly on the business, he is an habitué of the capital’s finest film clubs and theatres.

Ting Kai
Ting-Kai Chang Senior Designer

Ting-Kai previously worked for one of the most profitable development and construction groups from Sweden for nearly seven years. With rich experience in editorial, branding, marketing and corporate communication, he has also worked with organisations in the UK, Switzerland, the Nordics and the United States to name a few. Ting-Kai holds an MA in Communication Design from the University of Southampton. Outside of work he enjoys spending time exploring the world of architecture and magazines.

Roy Pritchard Business Development

This picture may allow you to put a face to an already-familiar voice. Roy’s career spans twenty-three years in financial services, having joined Legal & General straight out of University. He now heads up our business development team. Roy has previously held director-level roles within the mortgage-packaging and claims-regulation sectors. Always extremely keen to help our clients, Roy loves a challenge, and reaching out to potential clients gives him just that. A proud Welshman, and like so many of his countrymen suffused with passion tempered by ‘hiraeth’, Roy is a Titan Of Terrible Jokes and the undisputed Agency Boss of Bad Puns.

James Granger UI/UX Designer

James has a deep understanding of UI/UX practices and enjoys working on the full digital process for aspiring business’ needs. He holds a BA in Graphic Design and since leaving university has delved into the digital side of design with a passion for the full user process and creating user-friendly digital products. Now, James’ focus is on creating the very best UI/UX solutions for Fin’s clients. Other than design, he enjoys working on business development. Outside of work, James likes to keep fit and plays tennis and football (and anything else with a competitive edge!).
